This panel has an opaque white base layer which has had coloured glass powders applied to it.
The second layer is made with clear transparent glass which has 'hills' cut from it.
The colours underneath then be seen through the top layer. More embellishments in the form of glass stringers, pressed glass flowers and special murrine glass have been added.
It has been fired twice in the kiln to this stage.
A further firing is nesseccary on a ceramic mould to achieve the wave in the stand.
It will stand alone on a windowsill, shelf, mantlepiece or table.
A unique and one off piece.
When laid flat it measures 22.5 cm wide x 17.5 cm high.
