'Pebble' Trio of Sushi Dipping Dishes

A striking set of 3 dipping dishes in light cyan blue and french vanilla.
The base layer is transparent glass with the coloured layer on
top. Embellished with small chunks of the same glass strategically placed on
opposite sides to allow a reaction to occur when the glass is melted.
When you look closely you will see a darker edge to the small pattern.
The first firing fuses everything together at about 800 degrees
centigrade.
A further firing then takes place on a mould at a lower
temperature to complete the shape of the dish.
My theme for this series is pebbles, reminding me of the beach,
sand and sea.
